Funding for BEA and Bureau of Census

The Bureau of Economic Analysis Obtained nearly $3 million dollars in its budget for improvement of US economic statistics by act of Congress of December 2000. The funding will be directed to two units that are vital to statistics on services including the gross domestic product of the US and its monthly trade figures and the like. The funding will contribute to improvements dealing with trade in services and also services in the gross domestic product. Summarized by Harry Freeman, December 22 2000
